The bomb has a radius of clearance of 2 tiles in all directions, and you earn it for hitting 5-tile matches. The lightest powerup is the fish cracker that is awarded for 4-piece matches, clearing 1 tile in all directions. However, don’t rush to use all powerups available on a single level, as they may be useful for you in more difficult levels that come up. Sometimes it can clear the entire board, helping you conquer the level with hardly any effort. A powerup is able to clear the plenty of lines from one blow. It is good if you find 3-piece matches, but it is way better if you hit matches consisting of more than three pieces, as these ones grant you powerups. If you feel though that you ended up in a tight spot, you can escape it by using powerups that are able to clear a lot of lines in less than a second. Puzzles become more difficult with each level, which means that will have to improve your match-finding skill constantly to be able to deal with the most intricate boards as you progress through the game.
